Peace talks between the Greek and Turkish leaders of Cyprus collapsed on Tuesday and the United Nations announced the end of its efforts to reunite the island before it accedes to the European Union.Looks like they are batting 1000.
"Regrettably these (peace) efforts were not a success. We have reached the end of the road," said a statement by U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
