Friends of Barack Obama: New Black Panther Party

Golly, ole Barack is getting a tad nervous about publicity about some of his pals. After his sleazy attempt to equate his aged granny with Rev. Jeremiah "Crazy Talk" Wright, he did some further cleanup yesterday when he removed the endorsement of the New Black Panther Party from his website:

The blogosphere was buzzing Wednesday about whether his campaign planned to remove the Panther posting, just one day after the Illinois senator delivered a speech calling for improved race relations in America.

The New Black Panthers, who inherited their name from the Black Panther Party of the 1960s, had the page on the Obama campaign’s public forums. The group’s message said it is backing Obama because he “represents ‘positive change’ for all of America. Obama will stir the ‘Melting Pot’ into a better ‘Molten America.’”

That's kind of how I think of Barack Hussein too.

The NBPP is identified as an extremist hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a tolerance education organization. The Anti-Defamation League calls NBPP “the largest organized anti-Semitic black militant group in America. … Under Shabazz, the group continues to organize demonstrations across the country that blend inflammatory bigotry with calls for black empowerment and civil rights.”

The NBPP lists on its Web site a 10-point plan for full employment for black Americans as well as housing, education, free health care and an end to the death penalty.

In addition, it demands slavery reparations, the release of all black prisoners from American jails, trials of blacks only by all-black juries, an end to all black cooperation with police departments, exemption for blacks from the all-volunteer U.S. military and a separate country for African-Americans.

They love Barack Obama and he was proud to claim their support until called on it. Makes you think, doesn't it?

NY Democrat politics: the gift that keeps on giving

It was a puzzle why Democratic NY Lt. Governor David Paterson took time out from his accession party following the demise of whoremongering Governor Eliot Spitzer to reveal that he and his wife had had extramarital affairs "years ago". Now we know why and that Paterson's memory was a tad fuzzy - PATERSON GAL'S TAPE SHOCKER: OLYMPICS BABE BARES RECORDING & JOB 'HE GOT ME':
An attractive Olympic gold-medalist says she had a close personal relationship with Gov. Paterson earlier this year - during which time she recorded a series of secret telephone conversations with him.

Track-and-field athlete Diane Dixon, of Brooklyn, also told The Post that she had received a private message yesterday morning from Paterson, asking if she was speaking with the media.

Dixon, 43, said Paterson, 53, was "mostly responsible" for getting her a badly needed job earlier this month with the city Department of Education in Crown Heights' District 17.

The job pays in the range of $48,000 to $65,000 a year, records show.

"I'm a single mom with a child. I need this job," said Dixon, who grew up on Carroll Street in Crown Heights and won medals in the 4x400-meter relay at the 1984 games in Los Angeles and the 1988 Olympics in Seoul.
What, no "pole vaulting"? Dixon's a cheap date compared to Spitzer's hotties, but the taxpayers are footing the bill for sure on this one. But wait, there's more - DAVID BARES DIRTY HAREM: DAVE'S GOT A HORNY OF PLENTY:
Just one day after taking office, Gov. Paterson yesterday admitted to cheating on his wife with "a number of women," including one who currently works in his new office.
...
Yesterday, he confessed to cheating with several women, including one whom sources identified as Lila Kirton, who followed Spitzer from the Attorney General's Office to the governor's New York City office as the $150,000-a-year director of community affairs.

Paterson's campaign wrote Kirton a check for $500 for "professional services" in 2002, records show.

A spokesman described it as "reimbursement for attendance at an event on behalf of the campaign," adding officials for the Paterson campaign are "currently reviewing all transactions."
The "event" was apparently in Paterson's pants.
Without mentioning Kirton - who could not be reached for comment - Paterson said the relationship had lasted for several years and that he would "accommodate her wishes" in terms of what she wants to do about her employment.
She'll probably ask for a raise. I guess we know what constitutes the "service" part of civil service in New York.

It looks like ole Dave has some 'splaining to do. I'm just waiting for the Dixon tapes to show up on YouTube - Bwahahahahaha.

Obama says he knew Wright was nuts but it's all our fault

So much for Barack Obama's claim that he didn't know Jeremiah Wright was delivering poisonous rants from the pulpit. According to his speech today:
Did I know him to be an occasionally fierce critic of American domestic and foreign policy? Of course. Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes.
I guess he wasn't really sleeping during 20 years of sermons after all. So is he going to disclaim Wright?
I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.
Nice touch - Barack just threw Granny under the bus by making her seem equivalent to that hate-spewing wingnut Wright. In point of fact, Granny was mostly wary after an attempted mugging according to Obama himself and never said anything even approaching one of Rev. Wright's footnotes. Hmm, Granny Dunham is still alive but Obama's campaign won't let her talk to anyone. I wonder what she thinks?

I'll spare you the rest of the speech and give you the punchline: everybody is imperfect and racist except for the Obamessiah, but we'll all be saved if we turn to him and immediately implement socialism. Oh yeah - he finished off with a John Edwards style fairy story.

Hey Barack, you wouldn't be bamboozling us would ya?

Barack Obama book God Damn America
Barack Obama loves Malcolm X's line about politicians bamboozlin' the regular folks, with the implication that he doesn't do it. The only problem with that is that a lot of Barack's tall tales don't fit together:
In the Jeremiah Wright affair, Barack Obama is most certainly lying about something.

He now insists that he is “shocked, shocked” (in the style of Claude Raines in “Casablanca”) to hear that anti-Americanism had anything at all to do with Wright’s ministry.

He has also claimed to be a “devout Christian” who attends church every week and is deeply involved in the life of Wright’s congregation (where he’s been a member for twenty years).

It’s simply not possible that he could be an active member in the church without hearing something about sermons in which the pastor blamed 9/11 on America’s past sins, or called down curses repeatedly (“God D---n America!”) on his own nation.
...
Hey, Barack—it’s either one or the other: either you were lying when you talked about your deep, soul-changing involvement in Trinity United Church of Christ, or else you’re lying when you say you never had any idea (until last week) about the crazy and offensive and sickening contents of the pastor’s diatribes from the pulpit.

My guess is that Obama is actually telling the truth about his deep involvement in the church, but lying (very badly) about knowing nothing about its pastor’s excesses.
Malcolm X liked hoodwink too - so does Obama.
